Day 1: Once Upon A Preemie, Inc.’s 3rd Annual Fundraiser

Join Once Upon A Preemie, Inc. for its 3rd Annual Fundraiser––Party For A Cause: A Party For Preemies Preemies––which aims to raise funds to advance our mission. This event will also serve as a pre-conference mixer and networking opportunity for conference attendees.

Day 2: Black Maternal Health and Neonatal Equity Conference

On Day 2 of the conference, healthcare professionals and parent advocates will be empowered to advance solutions for equitable health outcomes for Black birthing and preemie families.

About the Conference

The Black Maternal Health and Neonatal Equity Conference empowers healthcare professionals and parent advocates to move forward with solutions that improves health outcomes for Black birthing mothers and preemie families.

Join Once Upon A Preemie, Inc. for its combined 3rd Annual Fundraiser and 4th Annual Black Maternal Health and Neonatal Equity Conference: Moving Forward. This two-day in-person conference will bring together perinatal and neonatal healthcare professionals and Black preemie parents/advocates for a powerful empowering and educational experience, centered on the lived personal and professional experiences of Black birthing women.

This conference also seeks to:

  • Empower healthcare professionals and parent advocates to move practice-based solutions forward that drive equitable maternal and neonatal health outcomes.
  • Advocate for culturally appropriate, Black women-led solutions with a unified voice and vision, transforming healthcare delivery for Black birthing and preemie families.
  • Move forward the proven systems, community, and family level interventions that transform and improve birth and postpartum outcomes for preemie and NICU families.

Who is the Conference for?

We welcome healthcare providers, clinicians, researchers, advocates, public health and community health professionals, and preemie parents as well as government officials, culture and inclusion officers, tech innovators, students, media, and reproductive justice advocates. Together, we will elevate the voices and experiences of Black birthing and preemie families and the issues connected to Black maternal health. This gathering is open to all who are committed to advancing inclusive solutions for Black maternal health and neonatal equity.
