Day 1: Once Upon A Preemie’s 1st Annual Fundraiser

Join Once Upon A Preemie, Inc. for its first annual fundraiser– A Party for A Cause that will raise funding to further our mission and serve as a pre-conference mixer for conference attendees.

Day 2: Black Maternal Health and Neonatal Equity Conference

Day 2 of the conference will empower healthcare professionals and parent advocates to eliminate health disparities and center voices, lived experiences, and solutions from black birthing and preemie families.

The Black Maternal Health and Neonatal Care Conference empowers healthcare professionals and parent advocates to eliminate health disparities and center voices of black birthing and preemie families.
Join Once Upon A Preemie, Inc. for a combined 1st Annual Fundraiser and 2nd Annual Conference: Black Maternal Health and Neonatal Equity Conference: Parents, Practitioners, Policies, and Solutions. This in-person two- day conference will engage perinatal and neonatal healthcare professionals and Black Preemie Parents/Advocates for a powerful day of health and racial equity education and empowerment, to center the lived and post-partum experiences of Black Birthing Women.

This conference also seeks to:

  • Empower the Black Maternal Health and Neonatal community
  • Unite with one voice and one vision to advocate for culturally appropriate and Black woman-led solutions
  • Transform the delivery of healthcare for Black birthing and preemie families.

Who is the conference for?

Healthcare providers, clinicians, researchers, advocates, public health and community health professionals, and Preemie Parents. We also welcome government officials, DEI practitioners, tech innovators, students, media, and reproductive justice advocates who want to elevate the voices and experiences of Black Birthing and Preemie Families, and the various issues connected to Black Maternal Health. We welcome all who are invested in driving equitable solutions for Black Maternal Health and Neonatal Care.
